Eight Marathon Seniors Commit to Collegiate Athletics

Eight Marathon Jr./Sr. High School seniors officially signed to continue their athletic careers at their respective colleges ahead of graduation on June 28.
 
Surrounded by family members, coaches, teammates, and staff, the student-athletes were recognized for their dedication, perseverance, and achievements both in the classroom and in competition. Their commitments mark the culmination of years of hard work and a shared commitment to excellence.
 
Each student-athlete has balanced the demands of academics and athletics while representing Marathon with pride. Their success reflects not only their individual efforts, but also the support of their families, coaches, and the broader school community.
 
The following students participated in the signing:
 
  • Izabella Conklin, Softball – SUNY Broome, criminal justice
  • Scout Morse, Soccer – SUNY Broome, sports studies
  • Aliviah Pendell, Softball – Onondaga Community College, liberal arts, humanities, and social sciences
  • Delaney Reilly, Field Hockey – Utica University, business management
  • Santiago Reyes, Baseball – Tompkins County Community College, computer science
  • Savanna Warfield, Golf – Nazareth University, digital marketing strategy
  • Kayla Wood, Softball – Tompkins County Community College, undecided
  • Mya Wyant, Wrestling – Alfred State University, Wrestling
