2026 National Honor Society Inductees Recognized
Fourteen Marathon CSD students were inducted into the MA-CE-HI chapter of the National Honor Society on Wednesday, April 29, and Mr. Albert Stevens was recognized as an honorary member, a tradition at Marathon that began in 1994.The NHS was established to recognize outstanding high school students. Student eligibility is based on her or his record of scholarship, leadership, character, and service at Marathon Central Schools and the communities served by the school district.
Students who demonstrate scholarship with an overall GPA of 92% or higher for 12 consecutive marking periods (2 years) are invited as candidates to join NHS. Each member must complete 18 hours of service over 12 months to maintain their membership status in NHS.
