Marathon CSD Faculty Face Off for Charity in Basketball Game

Faculty members from Marathon Central Schools and Whitney Point Central School District took to the court for a good cause during a fundraiser basketball game on March 12.
 
Held at the Whitney Point High School gymnasium, the event brought together students, families, and community members to cheer on their favorite teachers and staff, all while supporting meaningful causes. The friendly competition was a highlight for both districts, fostering school spirit and community connection.
 
This year, Marathon CSD selected the Marathon Food Pantry as its beneficiary. Through the success of the event, $900 was raised to support the organization and its efforts to serve local families in need.
 
The charity game, co-hosted by Marathon and Whitney Point, highlights the power of community, collaboration, and giving back.
